CREATING STAR CHILDREN
Re Jala Peo started after-school clubs in 15 schools in Maun, 1 in Khwai Village and one in Sehithwa. Ten to twenty club members per school receive weekly 2.5-hour sessions on life skills development, financial literacy, entrepreneurship and conservation using Aflatoun Active Learning methods and the Junior Ranger curriculum.
Each child receives healthy snacks and easy-to-use workbooks that they use throughout the school year. Working on these lessons weekly, will give the children a chance to reflect and apply what they have learned for the next lesson. In addition, club members are tasked with participating in monthly assemblies at schools where they can share their lessons and experiences with the rest of the school.
Since the end of 2023 our children have their own Kids in the Delta Magazine.
