At Botswelelo Primary School in Maun, the Junior Rangers and Aflatoun learners are taking sustainability to the next level through an exciting new hydroponics project set up by our coordinator Letso.
Our club members have begun cultivating tomatoes, rape, spinach, and lettuce. Through this hands-on initiative, they are discovering how to produce healthy, nutritious crops while conserving both water and space.
This project not only introduces innovative farming techniques but also nurtures environmental awareness and responsibility among young learners. By engaging in sustainable agriculture, our club members are developing practical skills that will empower them to become future environmental champions.
Together, these young innovators are growing more than plants… they are contributing to a greener, happier and healthier Maun!
